Embassy to Host Conference with Major Global Policymakers 11/29
On Tuesday, November 29, Ambassador François Delattre will host a conference at the French Embassy called "G20 and the New Global Order" which will feature former U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, Lawrence Summers, and Diplomatic Advisor to President Sarkozy, Jean-David Levitte.
The event will include a panel discussion with Mssrs. Levitte and Summers, as well as Kemal Dervish, former Minister of Economic Affairs and the Treasury of Turkey, and Anne-Marie Slaughter, former Director of Policy Planning at the U.S. Department of State.
Amb. Delattre will provide opening remarks alongside Romuald Sciora, Founder and Director of the French-American Global Forum, which organized the event. The discussion will be moderated by James Traub, columnist for Foreign Policy Magazine and Contributing Writer to The New York Times Magazine. A reception will follow the event.
"G20 and the New Global Order" will take place Tuesday, November 29 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm at the Embassy of France, located at 4101 Reservoir Road NW, Washington, D.C., 20007.

The French-American Global Forum is a new organization with the purpose to organize events about current political and economic affairs, and to publish books. In the frame of its initial session, the FAGF will co-publish Romuald Sciora’s next book: Planet G-20.
