France and Germany are fundamentally committed to the integrity of the Euro Area. They are determined to do everything to protect it.
The member states and the European institutions – each according to its prerogatives – must fulfil their obligations to this end.
France and Germany reaffirm the need for swift implementation of the conclusions of the European Council of 28 and 29 June./.
