Climate disruption

We welcome the US Environmental Protection Agency’s announcement of a plan to regulate greenhouse gas emissions from coal-fired and other power stations. The measure demonstrates the American administration’s determination to achieve its [emissions] reduction target in 2020.

This is part of the climate action plan announced by President Obama in June 2013. It builds on the progress made in recent years and is fully in line with our collective efforts to conclude a global agreement in Paris in 2015 to combat climate disruption./.
