so Starck, so Bouroullec… so Le French Design

Le French Design "No taste for bad taste" will open Wednesday December 6, 2017, at 5pm, in presence of the Ambassador of France to the USA, Mr. Gérard Araud, the Consul general of France in Miami, Mr. Clément Leclerc, and the President and CEO of VIA, Mr. Bernard Reybier and Mr. Jean-Paul Bath, the organizers of the show.

This show will take place in Miami Design District’s new upcoming art&design space, Paradise Plaza, located at 151, NE 41st Street.

With an original scenography conceived by French fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, the exhibition is showcasing a selection of 40 French Design masterpieces (Bouroullec, Starck…), displaced in ten iconic tents, representing each a French value such as art de vivre, savoir-faire etc. Launched in Paris in February 2017, the show has since travelled to Milan, Venice, Montréal…and will continue its international tour after Miami until 2020.

The exhibition has received the support from a committee of 40 internationally renowned figures, and the Ameublement français, the Institut français, as well as numerous public and private financial partners.
